Möku Open Mic

You probably already know that we hold a monthly open-mic stand-up show in Möku. But you might not know what an open-mic show is — and, furthermore, you might not know that you are free to participate! You now have the option to try Stand Up Comedy in English or Estonian! We typically run the Möku Open Mic with the first half in the Estonian language and the second half in the English language.

Open-mic comedy is the best (and, sometimes, the only) way to begin your love affair with the microphone. Here’s the deal: you write three minutes of jokes, we give you a microphone and the audience’s attention, and you get to test out your material in front of a group of real, live people (not that your mom doesn’t count. She does.)

Our open-mic shows are always a great time, and we’ve had people travel from as far away as Tallinn to participate. If you’re interested in performing stand-up comedy in front of an audience, email us at least a week ahead of time at info@comedyestonia.com to have your name added to that month’s roster. As always, you can find the dates and times of all of our shows on our events calendar (but our Möku open might generally takes place at the end of the month, and it’s always on a Saturday).
