Choose your own adventure: A summer night in Tallinn
You survey Shooter’s and wonder how one bar could be packed with so many desperate men. You begin to think that you might be the only woman in the bar until another woman taps you on the shoulder.
“I’ve been trying to leave this place for 30 minutes,” she says, “but I can’t make it past this wall of men. Let’s band together and push our way out.”
You join arms with the woman and begin trying to walk through the sea of men toward the door. Every step is a struggle, and you strain your hand pushing away 1 euro shots. You’re bombarded with terrible pick-up lines and invitations to go drink in a hostel every 10 seconds. Once you reach the door, you realize that you’ve left your cell phone on a table in the back.
“Forget it!,” your companion says. “You’ll never make it back there. It’s too risky! We’ve got to go now. Look!” The woman points out the window to a British stag party making its way down the street. “If they get here before we leave, it’s game over!”
You abandon your cell phone and leave Shooter’s. Your new friend tells you that she knows of a really cool bar just around the corner.
What do you do?
